The University of Toronto is accepting applications for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship 2023. International students from around the world will have the opportunity to study at one of the best universities in the world. Toronto University offers Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships. Every year, 37 outstanding students from all over the world are awarded the University of Toronto Scholarship.
Known for its multidisciplinary and creative educational style, the University of Toronto is a prestigious research university. Studying various fields is open to scholars from all over the world. It has 700 undergraduate programs (external link) in Humanities & Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical & Mathematical Sciences, Commerce & Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Kinesiology & Physical Education, Music, and Architecture.
Application deadline
- School nomination deadline: November 30, 2022
- Student OUAC application deadline: December 14, 2022 (Please note this is the final date to submit an application to the OUAC; however, it is recommended you apply for admission through the OUAC before November 7, 2022 as spaces in programs fill-up quickly and popular programs may close early.)
- Student scholarship application deadline: January 16, 2023

Lester B Pearson Scholarship recipients are eligible for the following benefits:

Who’s eligible?
To be eligible to apply to the Pearson International Scholarship, you must be:
- an international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
- currently in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2022
- beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2023 (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered; students starting their studies in January 2023 at another post-secondary institution cannot be considered)
Documents required
- Full documentation (transcripts) for all secondary and post-secondary studies attempted
- proof of English language proficiency
- Curriculum vitae.
- Motivation letter
- A copy of passport valid for at least one year
- Personal Statement or Admission Essay
- Letters of recommendation from two former professors
How to apply
In order to be considered for the Lester B. Pearson scholarship, applicants must apply to the University of Toronto’s undergraduate degree program. A candidate must be nominated by the school and receive a nomination from the school. Before applying for this scholarship, applicants must verify that their high schools have been contacted and validated.
Participants who have not been notified must first submit an application. Review the educational offerings at the University of Toronto. The Pearson Scholarship 2023 will only consider a candidate’s first choice of study.
Once the application for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship has been received and the applicant has applied to the university, a personalized link and secure connection will be provided to the applicant.
